Described as the “99 Ranch and Whole Foods love baby, it’d be Mainland,” after years of management changes, remodels, and menu revamps — locals believe this mom and pop shop have gotten their head on straight.
Others describe the store as a “hapa haole east-west hybrid market” — bringing together the flavors of American and Asian palettes.
